Hi there,

I've noticed that I have a hard time with the questions that ask "The passage provides sufficient information to answer which of the following questions?". Usually two or three seem enticing since it is difficult to remember the minute details of the passage. What is the most efficient method for attacking these questions without having to go through the entire passage? Even when I use the VIEWSTAMP method, I end up spending a lot of time rereading, trying to find minute hint words and whatnot to get me to the correct answer.

Many thanks in advance.

Instead of looking for the answers to the five questions posed in the choices, just think about whether they involve issues that were discussed by the author. You might find that if you force yourself to consider the answer choices before revisiting the passage, you will often be able to narrow down your options a bit more quickly.

I usually already do that but oftentimes the ACs are involve terms that were discussed in the passage, which makes it difficult to narrow down without reviewing the details of the passage... Perhaps it will come with more practice.
