I thought the author of passage B was in agreement with the author of Passsage A. What indicates to the skepticism of the author of passage B?

Hello,

Passage A portrays purple loosestrife as dangerous, Passage B says it does not really endanger certain species, but it may reduce the economic value of those species to human desires and practices such as trapping.
