I'm currently taking the the full length online course and have unfortunately fallen behind 2 lessons (Lesson 4 and 5) due to work related issues. My next lesson will be 6.

I'm currently trying to map out a plan to catch back up, but I realize this will be difficult considering my schedule and the schedule of the classes.

Will I hurt myself if I continue to participate in the weekly classes while I go back and catch up on the lessons and homework that I've missed? I only ask because I am aware that the lessons are in order for a reason.

Hello ChenierB,

You have a thoughtful question there. Anyway, I think it's best to participate in the weekly classes, even if you don't fully understand everything. It beats missing the classes!

If you have to, at least skim the theory parts of lessons 4 and 5, so that you have a basic idea of what was taught there. Then you should be able to profit more from the weekly classes. (Of course, catch up on what you missed, when you can.)

Hope this helps,
David

Hi ChenierB-

I just wanted to add on to what David said. If you are currently enrolled in a Live Online Course that meets just once a week, you should be able to catch up by watching the archived lessons from the Blackboard Elluminate site (same place you go to watch the live classes). Are you aware that all 6 of your previous lessons are available to view right now? I would highly recommend you go back and watch Lesson 4, 5, & 6 to make sure everything is clicking before watching Lesson 7 (especially Logic Games). The great thing about the classes that meet just once a week is that they allow students who have busy schedules the flexibility of missing a class, but not falling far behind because you can easily go back and view the missed lesson. Good news is, the Logical Reasoning portion of Lesson 7 does not rely on full knowledge of the previous lessons, but Games are a different story.

If you have any questions about finding these recordings, please call our office at 800-545-1750!! Any one of our associates can assist you!!

Thanks,
Morgan O'Donnell
