Hi,

Thanks for your message--as I'm sure you already know, you're not alone! Sounds like you have a very solid foundation as well, so at this point it's probably about sharpening the skill set that you have already begun to develop. You mentioned that you had burned through a lot of material--was that mostly course materials, or were there other resources you were using as well? Once we find out what materials you've already reviewed, we can take it from there; let me know--thanks!

Hey Patrick,

Let me jump in here and add my 2c. The fact that you have so much time on your hands is both a blessing and a curse: you really don't want to drag this on until June 2015, let alone September. You've already taken a full course, so you are familiar with the concepts and techniques necessary to do well. You may not have done all the homework and practice tests we recommend, but if you study correctly - and efficiently - you will run out of material by June of next year (and probably even earlier). Yes, students vary in how long they need to reach their potential, but I imagine you've been doing this since July. If you wait until June 2015, you will end up prepping for a full year: not unheard of, but definitely unusual (and likely unnecessary).

Here's what I'd do if I were you: I'd buckle down and try to get ready by February 2015. Unlike the June test, February won't coincide with your year-end finals so you can devote all your energy to the test. Furthermore, the LSAT is still relatively "fresh" in your head. Were you to postpone until June, you may not give it your 100% immediately. By the time you start studying in earnest, you might forget a lot of what you learned this past summer. Don't let the prep you've done so far go to waste! You can - and should - be ready to kill it by February.

To help you structure your time as productively as possible, take a look at the 3-month Study Plan in the special Self-Study area we just created for students like yourself:

http://students.powerscore.com/self-study/index.cfm

Just select the 3-month plan and it's a quick download.

The plan includes a required list of publications, as well as a detailed week-by-week schedule of assignments. If Logic Games are your weakness, for example, definitely focus on completing all LG assignments for each week.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Thanks!
