Hi all,

My question is going to be pretty general, sad to say. Anyways,

I've been trying to work on my struggle area (logical reasoning) the last week just because I'll be taking the December test. In my haste to study for that section, I've kind of slacked off on my LG section, which I was doing pretty well in up until now.

I've managed to improve my LR section, my RC section is almost always perfect, but I'm having a hard time remembering how to set up each game. I can pinpoint what the game is 'underfunded, balanced, etc.,' but I can't get an actual diagram down. My mind goes blank.

I hate being able to chart/graph the rules, but essentially without the actual diagram to put them in they mean little.

Any tips on remembering how to diagram the variable sets?

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks!

Also, big thanks to John Denning for the LSAT Scenarios. They've been a tremendous help in boosting my LR score!

Hi Mlhousto,

In terms of general diagramming strategies, it may be helpful to go back to Lesson 1 in the Full Length Course book. After learning more advanced strategies for approaching the games, the diagramming practice drills, both in the lesson and in the homework, may make more sense now. Identifying the type of game (is it pure sequencing? linear? grouping? grouping AND linear?) should also help you decide how to represent the relationships (or potential relationships) between variables. Lesson 9 should also give you a good review of some of the game strategies. Hope this helps!
