I am only stuck in this part of exercise. i donot understand which should be starting point for spaces between two variable. Like for instance, X must appear for performance exactly 3 days after Y performs and in 6 position sequential game i would diagram it out as follows;



___ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____

1 2 3 4 5 6 y __ __ __ x thus two possibilities being Y in 1 and x in 5 or possibility 2 being Y in 2 and X in 6. I get a little too confused and this one space makes things go wrong in major way and losing precious easy points.

Hi aisha karim,

If X must perform 3 days after Y, that means that X must perform on the third day after the day on which Y performs:

Y _ _ X

Compare this rule to the one where they tell you that there are 3 days between X's performance and Y's performance:

X/Y _ _ _ Y/X

It is critical to examine the rules carefully and understand precisely what they entail.
