Good morning,

I am wondering if the element of time matters in parallel reasoning questions. For example, in Lesson 8 HW Parallel Reasoning Q #1 (Sport Figure & Public Appearances/Competitions), I was thrown off by answer choice B (the correct answer) because the conclusion states there "must not have been" any critical emergencies, while the conclusion of the stimulus states that "she will not be making" any publicity appearances. Is temporality ever a factor in matching the conclusions?

Thanks for your help!

Great question! Generally, no - you want to be focusing more on the type of reasoning the stimulus is using, rather than the specifics of how it uses that reasoning, if that makes sense.
