Does it hurt more to have a very bad score(140s) alongside with a high score (165 and above) or a canceled score alongside with very high score. Need to decide whether to keep my score or cancel it. I didn't finish any of the sections. LRs were relatively fine depending on which one is chosen as the experiment, I was only able to do 3 of the 4 passages on the Reading Comprehension and used the advanced guessing strategy on the remaining ones. LG? ....arrrgghhh..if anything, that would be my Achilles heel. It was the last section and already tired by the time it began. I did the sequencing game well. However, I'm not sure if i got everything right. I got half way through one more game and that was it. I had to rely on the advanced guessing strategy again to complete the rest. Either way, I won't mind seeing my score. Just don't know whether it's a good idea given the fact that i'm confident that i can do a lot better the next time around.

Good morning, Osa,

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear that you do not feel as confident as you hoped after taking the LSAT The good news is, you are able to take the test again and knock it out of the park in October

As for your question, I'd like to direct you to the blog post created specifically for students who are in the midst of this debate:

http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/do-not- ... lsat-score

This blog post contains another blog (back from Sept. 2014) that discusses the factors to weigh when making the decision to cancel.

Out of curiosity, do you have a particular study plan in place to tackle the October LSAT? We have an amazing free resource that may be of great value to you! It's our LSAT Self Study Site. Here is a link: http://students.powerscore.com/self-study/index.cfm

In this site, you will find a 4-month study plan (perfect for those taking the October exam). Obviously, you've been studying on your own for some time, so you would be able to tweak it to your level (but it's a wonderful guideline). The site also offers a complete online scoring center where you can keep track of ALL your practice exams so you can see exactly how you are doing from test to test!

I hope you find this information helpful!

Please let me know if you have any further questions

Best of luck to you,
