Hello ,
I'm not good at reading comprehension section and I need to practise a lot
I'm studying a lot and I'm wondering if there is a way to practise with something similar to Lsat passages because I thing even all passages from previous LSATs are not enough for me , is there something else except what you recommend like (national geographic ,American science or NY times) something similar to LSAT passages with similar construction and way of question ? Maybe passages from SAT ???

Hi Mustafa,

Thanks for your question! You're absolutely correct: you do not need to rely exclusively on LSAT RC passages to improve your performance in RC. For many test-takers, it takes a little more than that. For starters, you need to follow the right newspapers and magazines. Want to improve your causal reasoning skills? Almost every day there is an article in the New York Times discussing some study involving correlations. Read the Science section daily, as well as The Upshot.

The Economist is even better. It contains articles that we swear could have been picked from the Reading Comprehension section of the LSAT (or would it be the other way around?). The Economist has both the style and the content you will find incredibly useful if you want to prep for the LSAT without opening a test prep book. Just a cursory glance at this week’s edition reveals familiar topics: Roy Lichtenstein, financial innovation, innocuous viruses, the science of memory, and so on. Read it weekly.

To beef up your facility with scientific language, check out Scientific American and National Geographic.

Have fun with it, and maybe you will actually learn something useful in the process :-)

Good luck!!
