I have gone through the LR bible twice and have identified my weaknesses with LR questions, but I am still inconsistent. I will only miss 3 on one section of LR and miss 11 on the other. How can I study to improve my consistency? I generally get it down to 2 contenders and pick the wrong one and understand completely why that answer choice was correct once I look back at it.

Hi elabuda,

It is common to miss more on one section than the other. You said you know where your weaknesses are on the LR section. Do the sections that you perform worse on have more of the questions you tend to struggle with? That could explain part of the difference. Also, the difficulty can change from section to section; the two LR sections are not always comparable in terms of difficulty. If the section you miss more on is the second of the LR sections, you may just be getting burned out and need to work on your endurance. I would recommend taking several back to back LR sections and seeing how they go. It will give you more practice, increase your endurance on LR questions, and give you more to work with when trying to determine what is causing you difficulty in one section over another. If you can pinpoint what is different in the sections where you miss significantly more it will be easier to try and correct.

I hope this helps!
