Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?f=282&t=7598)

The correct answer choice is (D)

If H is not featured on day 7, then only Template #4 applies:

G4-Q24-d1.png

Answer choices (A), (B), (C), and (E) can each be quickly eliminated by examining the Template. Therefore, answer choice (D) is correct.

Hi there, thank you for helping me out!

Oct 2000 LSAT,Q24:

Q24 assumes when H is NOT on day 7. So according to one of the possibilities:

K: _ H _ H _ H _
P: G _ _ _ _ _ N
1 2 3 4 5 6 7

Could you tell me whether this set up is right?

Thank you very much!!

Hello, Sherry,

Okay, let's take this one step at a time. :)

For #24, D is the only answer choice that could possibly be true (since you know H is 2/4/6, no need to worry about the R restriction on an odd day).

A can't be true because that would put two Gs next to each other (Day 5 and Day 6).
B can't be true because that would put two Ns next to each other (Day 2 and Day 3).
C can't be true because we know the Day 6 dog is G.
E can't be true because there aren't enough slots for three Rs. Days 1, 2, 6, and 7 are already determined for dogs, and the Day 4 dog can't be R, because H is also on Day 4.

Hope that helps,
Lucas Moreau
