Hi,

I've been steadily increasing my score on my practice tests and on the past 3 I scored a 174, 173, and 177. I just took my 11th practice test and was pretty disappointed when I got a score of 167. I didn't feel like I didn't get enough sleep or was especially nervous for this one. Since I've only got 10 full days till the June LSAT, can you give me some advice on practical next steps for the next week? Im itching to take a another test (after a full review of this one of course) to see if this is a fluke or a trend, but I'm not sure if I should take a day or two without touching anything LSAT and then try again or if I should do some more studying and then take another test. If on my next test I'm still under 170, I'm wondering if I should not take the June test?

Thanks for your help!

Rather than reinvent the wheel on this one, I am going to point you to some other sources for good answers to your excellent question, one of which is incredibly timely (just posted yesterday).

Look at this thread in this very forum for a similar discussion:

Also, this great Blog post from two years ago is still worth reading today:

Short answer is don't worry, take a break, this could even be good news if looked at as a learning experience and with a positive attitude.

Read on, and good luck! You are in rare air up there!
