Hey Sam,
That's exactly the kind of thing that happens, but I know how frustrating it feels to see what appears to a sudden downturn. I like your attitude here though—you are already handling this differently from a mental standpoint, and that will really serve you well come test day! I also wrote somewhat recently about the benefits of bad performance, and given what just happened to you, that article might be of some value.
