The correct answer choice is (B)

Answer choice (A) can be eliminated because V and S are on the same shelf, a violation of the third rule. Answer choice (C) can be eliminated because F is not on the same shelf as V or W. Answer choice (D) and (E) can be eliminated because P and S are on the same shelf, a violation of the second rule.

Hi Mmjd,

Answer C is wrong because it violates the first rule.

The first rule says that F (Farsi grammar) must be on the same shelf as at least one novel. The novels in the game are V and W (Vonnegut and Woolf).

This means that F must be on a shelf with at least one of V/W.

In Answer C, F is on the second shelf with P (Phonology) and not with V or W.
