Hi,

I just took September LSAT today and I knew I was screwed during the reading section.

I registered for December one so I am going to retake it but I am still wondering if I should cancel the score for today's test.
Today was my second try. I already took my first one last year and cancelled. At that time, I didn't even prepare because I just wanted to see how it is so I just cancelled the score. I prepared this time, but I am not confident at all.

My questions are,
Would it give bad impression if the record shows two cancellation?

Should I cancel or not?

Please advise. Thank you !

Hi Hykim,

Thanks for the questions! To answer your first question, the two cancellations won't matter if your third turns out ok. If you cancel your third, then it would be an issue. So, you are putting some pressure on yourself if you cancel this time. And, a cancellation isn't really necessary since these days law schools only care about the highest LSAT score (see http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/should- ... -agree-yes for more info on that).

For the second question, we can't tell you what to do :-D We weren't there with you during the test and we don't know all the relevant factors for admissions purposes. But, we can give you some advice on how to consider the decision, and that advice can be found at:

The Ultimate LSAT Scoring Guide: Should You Keep or Cancel?

Hopefully that gives you a solid platform from which to make a decision. Good luck!
