I had a very difficult type categorizing this game. I initially thought this was a linear grouping game, but I wasn't able to see how there was sequencing involved. Can someone explain what about this game makes it a sequencing game and what "clues" make it so? Thank you

Absolutely! Well, the fact that the cookies are made Monday through Friday is a strong clue that the question will require you to order some of the batches at least. Until you get to the rules portion, you don't know for sure what type of game it is. For example, the game could have been basic linear, where you had to know the exact order (i.e. which batch was made 1-9). Instead, the game is a combination, in which you group cookies by day, but the days are in a certain order.

Lastly, in my opinion it is not completely necessary for you to be able to label each game. An LSAT question will never ask you whether a game is linear, grouping, or a combination. So if you are unsure what type of game it is, begin drawing out the diagram and allow the constraints of the question to lead you.

Good luck!

Oh I see how there was a grouping element in this game in addition to the ordering element. Thanks for you helpful response, Claire! I'll use your advice from now on :)
