Where to start.... my scores in the past have been about 142, 147, and 146, all are official scores... I previously did use all 3 attempts in a 2-year period to get those scores, and now my next time to take the test was in December 2016, but due to some technical difficulties in obtaining accommodations, I rescheduled to February 2017.

I did this rescheduling in early November, and after I had made that decision, I took the whole month off from attempting to do prep. I restarted in mid-December to continue prepping, but here's my catch...

I am really inconsistent with practicing and doing problems from lessons at home. I am also very slow to process content and problem, logical reasoning in particular. I do have a documented disability and was (finally) able to get accommodations re-approved for this 4th attempt.

I don't even look at the online explanations due to them using terminology and wording (even from Dave and Jon's video overviews) that don't ring any bells in my head to make sense of a problem I may be given. I am in a one-on-one tutoring program, and each time I see that tutor, everything makes sense. But if I try to go home and attempt to make sense of any problem on my own, my brain goes numb...

So, today is December 26th. The test is on February 4th, although with my 1.5x time limit accommodations, the date may be a bit later.

I am trying to finish off the logic games in lesson 3. Do I have time and the ability to improve my score to the upper-150's by mid-January? Or am I too late and should reschedule to June 2017?

I have done the full course before, all 12 lessons. Most of this is review, but I do feel like I'm learning something new, especially with logic games and logical reasoning.

Hello Gino_J,

First, congratulations on all your hard work! A good "work ethic" is very helpful.
"I am really inconsistent with practicing and doing problems from lessons at home." Well, if you reasonably can, it would be good to try to become more consistent. If there are difficulties with that, though, just do the best you can.
"I am trying to finish off the logic games in lesson 3. Do I have time and the ability to improve my score to the upper-150's by mid-January? Or am I too late and should reschedule to June 2017?" There is not a definite answer to that question of whether you can improve to the upper 150's by next month or not. But you can gauge for yourself. E.g., how long will it take you to finish lesson 3? How long did it take you to do the homework for lessons 1 and 2? Answering these questions may help judge how long it will take you to finish all your preparation. And taking practice tests may help you see if you can progress to the upper 150's by January or maybe by February.

Hope this helps,
David
