Hello,

I am following the PowerScore LSAT 6 Month Study Plan listed on your website. I have all of the PowerScore Bibles and ordered the practice test books listed. I am wondering if following this 6 Month Plan is a good route to take in preparing for the June 2017 LSAT? I wanted to confirm that it will aid in preparing me as best as possible, assist in getting strong for the test and is an overall good route to take and guideline to follow.

Hello Lexi,

Naturally, PowerScore is confident that its study plans or recommendations are pretty solid, proven over time and/or seriously researched and thought about, and quite worthwhile as a rule. So that should give you some confidence, hopefully.
That being said, everyone is different. Maybe you will enjoy the 6-Month Plan, but maybe you will choose to alter it in some way you feel meet your needs.
Try it, then, and if it works for you (as it likely may), excellent. But don't hesitate to see what works best for you--e.g., do you want to add some special study to the plan, in an area that you feel needs improving? And don't hesitate to ask us for advice if you feel the Plan needs some tweaking or adjusting in your case. The fact that you are looking for a plan at all (not everyone does), and seem ready to put in a lot of work, is a good thing in itself! Good luck with your studies!

Yes, I have the same concern. I am considering taking the June 2017 lsat; but, I am wondering if I should do the three month study plan instead of the 6 month study plan to ensure I have enough time to make improvement, if any.

Welcome! We hope you find the resources here helpful. Each plan is a guide and outline, but you can shape it to your needs. For example, you could do the 6-month plan and speed it up at times, or do the 3-month plan and slow it down when you encounter areas that cause you difficulty or when you have less time. You know your schedule best. You might skim through both plans to get an idea of the amount of work and time required by each plan. Keep in mind that the test measures how you think and not what you know, so consistency and diligence is extremely important. Cramming is not effective on this test, as you will need time to practice your new skills, so that you can use those skills on test day when the pressure is on.

Was going to ask can you help me incorporate the workbook books in to the 6th month study plan or is that just supplement? Thank you

The workbooks are actually part of the assigned material for the six-month study plan. On selected weeks, you are assigned relevant practice in the workbook.

While you can certainly follow the plan without the workbooks, they do provide targeted drills and complete explanations to reinforce the core material presented in the Bibles.
