Hello,

I am reviewing my answers to "Logical Reasoning: Problem Set 1" from the OSC. I am trying to find from which PrepTest question #84 is from (Parallel—"If you climb mountains...") Could someone please help me ??

Thanks.

I am also looking for from the same LR set:

#88—"Our tomato soup provides good..."
#93—"Sheila: Health experts generally agree that..."
#95—"Although all birds have feathers..."

I've tried searching the LR forum w/ key words from these questions but still not able to track them down.

(Also, I'll just take this moment to provide feedback to your Course—it would be very helpful if you all provided from which PT each question came from in these Problem Sets you provide in the OSC. Perhaps in the "Logical Reasoning Question Type Classification List" doc or something.... it would save students a lot of time)

Hi Angel,

To address your last point, we're actually about to post a cross-reference of each Problem Set question which is then directly linked to its explanation on this Forum (same will happen for practice tests, all remaining homeworks, etc). That's been the plan since day one, and we've been waiting to add more explanations (which as you've probably noticed goes on constantly here :-D ). Thus, it will soon be that every question is linked directly to the corresponding Forum explanation and discussion area. I'll see what I can do to move that forward even more quickly!

In the meantime:

  • #84—"If you climb mountains..." — Feb 1993, LR1, #13 (Great conditional question!)

    #88—"Our tomato soup provides good..." — Feb 1993, LR4, #4

    #93—"Sheila: Health experts generally agree that..." — June 1993, LR1, #3 (another classic Q!)

#95—"Although all birds have feathers..." — June 1993, LR1, #16 (Formal Logic—focus on the Some/All relationship in first sentence)

Thanks!
