Could someone point me in the direction of a discussion on the items tracked in the answer keys.

#% - Number Percentage
SN - Sufficient Necessary
CE - Cause and Effect
X - Except

Also, in some cases I get the answer choice correct by paying more attention to the question type and developing a strategy based on that. Unless it's really obvious or an exceptionally difficult question I usually don't notice the tracked element. Please advise if this is something I should work on/implications of not being observant enough.

Hey Lust,

Do you mean in the course Lesson/HW book or in the LSAT Bibles? Here's some starter info on each:

  • The Course syllabus can be found at: https://www.powerscore.com/lsat/courses ... llabus.cfm. That provides an easy reference where each idea is initially introduced, and then the HW for that lesson and typically the lesson/HW following will provide additional info.

For the LSAT Bibles, the Tables of Contents serve the same purposes.
That should help to get things started for now, and then if you can be specific I will provide page numbers. Thanks!

I have access to full length material, type training books, and workbooks (I just don't own the bibles). I thought of this when looking at the answer key for the logic game type training book. Sometimes I'll check an answer that's labeled "#%" and I've selected the correct answer without even focusing on the numbers/percentages aspect.

Got it, thanks!

Ok, for these ideas, here are the main introductory pieces on each:

  • #% - Number Percentage: Lesson 9, Pages 9-1 through 9-7, and also 9-32 through 9-53

SN - Sufficient Necessary: Lesson 2, Page 2-6 through 2-18, and also see L2HW Page 2-38 through 2-77

CE - Cause and Effect: Lesson 3. Page 3-6 through 3-10 and also see 3-84 through 3-94, 4-22 through 4-24

    X - Except: Lesson 1 HW, Page 1-66
Also keep in mind that the first three ideas are so substantial that we revisit them continuously throughout the course, and thus while the above references the main discussions, they also tend to come up in numerous other places.

Thanks!
