We recently received the following question from a student. An instructor will respond below. Thanks!
Can you please let me know what does the below line means.

...spaces with more restriction are often at the center of the questions solution?

Does it mean that if question solution in the example below, then answer choice C) can be the variable with most restrictions?

P must be first singer to perform if which one of the following is true?

A)Q performs 2nd
B)R performs 4th
C) S performs 5th
D)T performs 5th
E) Vperforms 7th.

Hi utpal,

That is referring to the number of items that can go in a space. For example, imagine a game with 5 people: A, B, C, D, E. They are running a race and there are no ties. If we know that only A or E can finish first but anyone can finish 2nd - 5th, then the first spot has the most restrictions.
