I think I now understand these after some practice, but just to make sure I would like to ask.

For these statements;
No (A) is (B)
None of the (A)'s are (B)'s

is it fine to restate them as the following?
All (A) is NOT (B)
All of the (A)'s are NOT (B)'s

I had encountered these statements before, and just recently again in Q.17, SEC.1, PREPTEST 71, DEC 2013.
"None of the motors manufactured by EM Industries are quiet enough to use in home appliances."
which I diagrammed as;
EM--->not HA

Hi Kuma,

Yes, you are correct—good job!

Both of these are A :arrow: B, which can also be represented in super-statement form as A :dblline: B. that's because if you have one, you don't have the other, so the two can never go together.

Thanks!
