I picked A when going through this, and can see why B weakens this but am wondering why A is wrong.
It still weakens the argument, if they require deftness that an amateur has not developed- its he exodus actually the the right choice?
Is the issue with answer A rooted in that it requires additional extrapolation to weaken the argument?

In this way, you are right that answer choice (A) would require more information to weaken the conclusion: we would need it to say that only the Exodus requires this difficult, delicate adjustment.
