I've been taking one of the live online classes and haven't seen an improvement in my score. I thought I had a breakthrough last week, but nope all of my practice tests are still hanging out around 149-151, except for the one I took this morning and got a 146 :x . As we are now a month away I'm starting to get extremely nervous that I'm not going to be within the range I need to be in (closer to 160-170 range). I'm trying to see if someone can look at my test results in my account and help me target areas that I'm struggling with so that I can start to see improvement... I tried calling the 800 number, but they said to go this route, so here I am and hopefully someone can help me!

Thanks!

Hi Alicen,

This weekend I posted on this general topic, and I think you might find it helpful: lsat/viewtopic.php?t=15044

Dave,

I did find that helpful, but I would like a little more personalized help if someone is able to help me pinpoint what I'm missing. I don't know what I don't know, so I'm trying to see if someone can look at it with me and tell me if I'm doing the right stuff and where I may be struggling the most. I just don't want to spend the next 3 1/2 weeks spinning my wheels.

Hi Alicen,

Great, thanks for letting me know! While the Forum is great for general advice, you already have a much better route for direct assistance through your class :-D So, here's what I would suggest: at your next class, message the second instructor and ask to talk privately. He or she can take you into a virtual room and have a conversation about some of the issues you are having. Come prepared to share your last two test results so the instructor can look those over and identify any patterns in what you are missing.

That's the fastest and most direct way to get assistance from someone who knows more about your test habits. I'll also remind staff as well to make sure they double-check when talking to students about whether they are in a course since talking right to your instructor is by far the best path!

Thanks!

Dave,

Thank you for your response. Yes, I was planning on reaching out to them tonight during class. I thought I would try to reach out for help before then and if nothing else then I would chat with them tonight. Thank you again for your assistance, I'll certainly be sure to refer back to your post as well. As I said, it was great information, but I really need a personalized conversation right now to help set me on the right path.

Thanks again!

Perfect! That is what your instructors are there for, and they should already have a sense of how you are approaching questions. Thanks!
