Hello,

I am currently just beginning to work through Lesson 9 out of 12 on the online self study course with only three weeks left until the September test. I was wondering if I should get through them as fast as I can while also doing as many practice test as possible? I have taken 4 practice test so far and my last score was a 162 and I am shooting to get a 165. I plan on taking 2 practice test a week from here on out, but just confused on whether or not I should try and cram through lessons 9-12.

Thank you,
Garrett

Hey Garrett!

The course material definitely starts to taper down a bit beginning with Lesson 9. Lesson 12 is primarily a review lesson, for example, and so is a great Lesson to be working on right up through the last few days before the test. So if you can get through Lesson 11 by the end of the weekend prior to Sept. 16 (or before), you will be in great shape. So that is basically three lessons in just over two weeks.

It is definitely critical that you are getting in those practice tests at this point, however. I would prioritize 2 tests per week (along with a detailed review of your performance) above all else at this stage. So if you can get those in along with your lessons, that would be ideal. But if something has to give due to limited time, give deference to those 2 tests over the lessons.

On the other hand, if you have extra time (maybe, maybe not) feel free to supplement your work with some timed sections. These would probably be the lowest priority at this point, but may be useful to keep you working under timed conditions.

Good luck!
