Should I write an addendum?

I have a somewhat unique situation with my educational/work experience. After college I pursued a career in music with my band for 3 years. I had wanted to go to law school when I entered college but during college my passion for music took over and I decided to pursue that after I graduated. The question is should I write an addendum that explains this gap in traditional work experience after school. I included my music career in my resume and my personal statement is about that experience because it was a formative period in my life, so I'm not sure if it would be redundant. But any advice would be appreciate. Thanks.

Thanks for the question! My very strong feeling here is that it is not needed. It's explained via your resume already, and since it is touched on in your personal statement, it's covered completely.
