Hi Powerscore,

I was thinking about writing my personal statement or diversity essay on my dyslexia and how it has motivated and shaped my career plan. The only problem is that I have little to no formal record of ever being diagnosed. I was wondering if this would be an issue. I never applied for additional time on the LSAT and I'm not looking for accommodations in law school.

Thanks Powerscore!

Hi! Great question, Molly. I can't foresee anyone particularly caring about whether or not you've been formally diagnosed, and they certainly will not be able to get ahold of that information. The only reason any law school would ever seek that sort of record would be for formal diagnosis.

Good luck with your statement!
