Pre-Course Practice Test

Am I correct that Test One from October 2012 is the test I should take for the "pre course" practice test?

Assuming that you are taking an online course, then yes, that would be a good choice. If it is an in person course, you will be taking that at your first class session, so don't do it in advance! In that case, if you want to take a pre-course test, pick any test from the Online Student Center other than one of the four in your course book of four tests.
