I have a question about Q #2.

I chose E because I felt there was textual support that passage A mentions "the impact of social norms on creative output" as E states.

Specifically, the passage states that "using [social norms] comedians are able to maintain substantial incentives to invest in new material."

Can someone please explain how, according to the LSAT writers this is not correct?

Hi BostonLawGuy,
It sounds like you may be talking about question 14? If that is the case the problem with E is that while you are absolutely correct that the effects of social norms on creative outputs is mentioned in passage A, it is also discussed in passage B because social norms stop chefs from copying another chef's recipe innovation exactly, which means that social norms are "forcing" them to come up with their own innovative/creative ways to achieve similar results/outputs.
Hope that helps!
