Hi,

I chose A for this question because I thought that since Kingston's stories have an oral component to it, they may be hard to fully convey in writing. Why is A wrong and why is C correct?

Thank you!

Emily:

Be extra careful when choosing a must-be-true answer that you can find support for it in the passage. Answer A doesn't actually say what you wrote in your post, that her oral stories will be difficult to put in writing: A says her stories will be difficult to express in English, which the passage does not suggest.

I find support for C in the sentence that begins at the end of line 36 and runs through line 40 ("For Kingston..."). She seems to accept that the stories will continue to grow and change even though they've been written down.

I hope this is helpful.
