I'm wondering if you have any recommendations on how close to test day we should be taking full practice tests. I.e. should I be taking one on the day before the test, or leave that day to relax and review concepts? Also, is it a bad idea to take a practice test each day, 4 days in a row before the test?

Thanks!

Hi J,

This will hopefully help a bit:

  • Do NOT take a test the day before—it will drain you and you don't have time to review it properly. Relax instead :-D

Do NOT take a practice test each day, 4 days in a row before the test—that's again way too much energy expended. Would you run a marathon each of the 4 days before a real marathon? No way!

Your last PT should be 3-4 days before the exam, and if it's 3 days, start reviewing it asap as you finish. Taking LSATs without proper review is a big opportunity lost.
Thanks and good luck!
