Hello!
I've been scoring 170 fairly consistently on earlier pts, pt 45 to 52, but have been told that these earlier pts are much easier than the more current ones. Will I see a decrease in my scores once I begin pt 70 or so?

Hi Terminator,

Good question! While there are differences between tests, it's not as stark as you might hear online. The tests from recent years are a bit looser and less defined than older tests (which we discussed last night in our Crystal Ball Seminar), but even so, many test takers like them more because LG in recent years hasn't been as hard as it was in, say, the 90s and early 00s.

When you see score variations (and you will, whether you go later or earlier with your PTs!), remember that there are some factors beyond your control at play:

These will impact your score on any test you take, no matter when it was administered.
