Hello Powerscore!

I'm feeling very frustrated with the September 2017 LSAT. I feel like it was so difficult and the curve was very unforgiving. I don't feel motivated, because I feel like no matter how much I study my score does not go up. I think what I'm looking for is some encouragement. It feels like I hit a brick wall and I can't bounce back. I plan on taking the June 2018 LSAT in a couple of weeks, but am feeling down in the dumps. Any advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 8-)

Hi lang023,
One thing that a law Professor of mine said, as we were about to start studying for the Bar Exam, that has sort of stuck with me is "all things pass, and you will too". And no, she didn't mean we were all gonna die ;) she meant that she knew we were all capable of achieving our goal of passing the Bar Exam. The LSAT is a (huge and daunting) bump in the road, but you can do it!
Now let's focus on how to raise your score. There are different methods that sort of depend on your score. Do you have a particular section that you tend to perform better in than the others? If so, it may be a good idea to focus on "perfecting" that section to let it bring your score up.
Are there particular types of questions that you find easier to answer than others? If so maybe you can target those question types to make sure that you have "perfected" the entire family of questions.
Is there a particular aspect of logic that is giving you trouble, like conditional reasoning? If so, maybe you just need an hour or so of one-on-one tutoring to tweak those logic gaps.
Do not let this test defeat you. You can do it, and we are here to help you.

When I have had rough patches of frustration, the more I push through, eventually I hit a new level.

Keep moving forward when you think and feel the way you are is when breakthroughs typically happen in my experience.

You got this.
