Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?t=14920)

The correct answer choice is (D)

If N is on team 1, then from the second rule R cannot be on team 1. Accordingly, answer choice (C) can be eliminated.

Because team 1 must also include at least one anthropologist (F, J, or M), and answer choice (E) does not contain an anthropologist, answer choice (E) can be eliminated.

Answer choice (A) can be eliminated because if J is on team 1 then F must be on team 2 (see the previous question).

Answer choice (B) is very tricky to analyze, but it can be eliminated because if J and O are on team 1, then R and F must be on team 2 (as shown during the setup and in the previous question). But if R and F are on team 2, then from the first and third rules neither S nor M can be on team 2 and ultimately there are not enough researchers available to complete team 2. Thus, answer choice (B) can be eliminated.

The correct answer choice is (D).
