Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?t=2316)

The correct answer choice is (A)

The distribution possibilities show that every guide except Y must be assigned fewer than three of the tourists, and hence answer choice (A) is correct.

Hello! I just have an English question for question 7. I do not understand the English of answer choice A. I hope you can help (English is not my first language).

Answer choice A reads, "Zalamea is assigned fewer than three of the tourists." What does this mean? Does this mean that Zalamea can have only one or two tourists? Or does it mean Zalamea can have one, two, or three tourists?

That's correct, blueballoon! "Fewer than" means less than. That means 1 or 2, in this case.
