I am confusing on the " Principle Questions" ....
" which one of the following judgments most closely conforms to the principle above" and " The information above most closely conforms to which one of the following principles?" ....they are look the same to me, but 1 is Must- Pr, and 1 is Strengthen- Pr...please tell me the difference! Thanks.

Hi Hanvan,

They are confusing, so you are not alone there!

The difference is in the direction the information flows--think about this in terms of the First and Second family diagrams. Let's look at both examples you provided, with some portions bolded for emphasis:
  • 1, "Which one of the following judgments most closely conforms to the principle above"

Here, they are saying that one of the answers follows from or conforms to the principle in the stimulus. That is the classic picture of a First Family question (information travels down from the stimulus to the answers), and thus this question will be in that group (classified as a Must, but the answers will look like Parallel answers).

    2. "The information above most closely conforms to which one of the following principles?"

Here, the relationship is reversed--the information above conforms to an answer choice. When the information travels up from the answers to the stimulus, that is a Second Family relationship, and so this becomes a Strengthen-PR question.
Please let me know if that helps. Thanks!
