Hi!

Would it be a false assumption to assume that politicians have political insights? It affects this question.

Thanks!

Yes it would be. No where in the stimulus does it tell us whether or not politicians have political insight. To assume politicians have political insight would be incorrect and fails the fact test. This is why answer choice D is incorrect. Remember that in a must be true question, the answer choice must be able to be proven from the stimulus and the stimulus alone. Note also how the word politician is never even mentioned in the stimulus.
