I have a question on answer choice C. I selected E because it sounds much more convincing to me. However, I wasn't sure why C is wrong because I thought it is a rephrase from line 22-23?

Hi Chian9010,
Answer C is close to a rephrasing of the lines you cited however the language has an important difference. Answer C is absolute stating: "...do not grow out of, or are not motivated by..."
However the passage is less absolute, stating: "...as we often can one of Shakespeare’s". Often is not strong enough to match with the absolute language in Answer C.
Hope that helps!
