Hello,

Why couldn't G and M be in R as well? My reasoning was that since H has to go in R, and maintaining the 1-3-2 sequence (not in that order) then G and M could not go in V since it would be a violation of the first rule.

Can someone help me understand? Thanks!

If you did not put the GM block in V, then V could have nothing at all. Remember, the original rules prohibit us from putting the FK block at V. If we cannot put F, K, H, or L in that group, the only thing left is the GM block!
