Strengthen/ Weaken Help LR

Hi! I realize that I have been having trouble with Strengthen/ weaken answers. I am usually able to narrow it down to two answers (one is usually the right answer and the other is usually one that will either strengthen/ weaken but do so to a lesser extent as explained in the answer explanations). I often find myself stuck on these and more often chose the wrong answer because it will mention something from my prephrase or have what I want but not to the extent that it needs to be. How do you recommend sorting your left over contenders when you are dealing with these types of questions? Is there a lesson/ video from the online portal than will address this? Thanks so much!!

If you would post a specific example, it might be easier to discuss the process.

In general, it sounds like what you need to do is compare the remaining answer choices to the stimulus to see whether they directly strengthen/weaken the conclusion or are just close. You can also look for qualifying language and other nuances in the choices to help you analyze whether the choice definitely attacks/supports the stimulus or simply might do it.
