Dear Dave,

Do you find for a person who is preparing for Nov. LSAT. 2018, there is a very important reason (Semi or Absolute Necessary to do the test ) to go over PT 85? Is there any landmark or significant change of LSAC's directions signaling major changes for upcoming LSATs in the PT 85?

Hey lathlee - I'll weigh in (and Dave may add to it at some point): given that 85 is the latest test, I'd say it's important to review, yes. Absolutely mandatory? No, I wouldn't go that far, nor was there anything on it that suggests LSAC is up to new tricks or changing anything fundamental. But since it reflects their most recent efforts it's always a good idea to be familiar with that content :)

Put another way, no single test is ever required in order to succeed on the real thing...but if I had to put a PT at the top of the list of ones to do, I'd always opt for the most recent exam. Which in this case is 85!
