Hi!

Do you know how admissions views an applicant asking an admissions office to go ahead with reviewing and making a decision on your application while you still have a future LSAT date listed on your application, an LSAT that you plan on sitting for? Is this a negative or a non-issue?

Thank you!!

It's a non-issue! They'll typically honor the request (although not always but that is rare in my experience) and then just wait until they get your new score to have the app go final.

Hi,

Sorry I mean if you do not want them to wait for your lsat score for the app to go final. In the application you have to list all lsats even future ones, so they know you are signed up for an lsat. But if you want them to disregard this later test ad score it will produce in order for you application to be considered earlier, how do they view this request. i.e. having the app go final before the future lsat score is released.

Thanks!

Sorry, I knew what you meant but for some reason wrote it backwards :/ But the answer is the same :they will typically honor your request, although with a later score coming sometimes they auto-hold you regardless. Depends on the school.

Thanks!
