Hi,

Although I got question 42 correct, I was between choice B and E for this problem. Looking at it again, I feel like E is a better choice because it says directly in the stimulus that "responsible psychologists always accept the possibility that new evidence will show that their theories are incorrect." Answer choice E says "Psychologists who accept the possibility that new evidence will show that their theories are incorrect are responsible psychologists".

My only guess is that it could be a mistaken reversal?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!!

Hi Aba,

Indeed, answer choice (E) is a Mistaken Reversal of the final sentence of Anson's argument:

..... ..... ..... ..... Anson says: RP  ANE

..... ..... ..... ..... (E) says: ANE  RP

Thus, in a Must Be True question such as this one, (E) will always be incorrect.

Good working on spotting that!
