I have received a few tickets: for speeding, for an expired registration, and one for a failure to stop at a stop sign. The problem is that they have all been dismissed and I have no record of them in order to disclose the information of each on my law school applications. Most schools don't care about speeding tickets, etc., but a few are asking for them specifically and I have no idea how to get that information since I don't have any original copies of anything.

Do I just list the estimated time frames and a description of them along with my blank driving record? Will that be enough? Or could not having the specifics result in me not getting accepted into a program?

If they ask, you MUST disclose them. However, they totally ignore speeding tickets because everyone has one or two at least! So, it checks the box to list them but has no impact :)

You can note that the rough date and mention it as an estimate, that will be enough. And no speeding ticket ever caused a problem that I know of, so don't worry about not having every detail.

Thanks!
