Hi,
I am working on page 222 and 223 out of the logical reasoning bible. I am understanding the information I am reading and what is necessary in order for the sufficient condition to occur, however I just completed the diagramming drill and in some answers (mine in comparison with the books) the S & N are flip flopped. I am trying to fully understand why they would be reversed in some situations, but not others. Just a few problems later, I realize they are switched yet again. Meaning, the S & N are flip flopped when matching it with the flow of the material (what is necessary for the sufficient condition).
Using the 'If, then' example.... it seems like the S is always the "if" part and the N is always the "then" part, but it never said that in the material. Can you help me to understand this better? Should I not move forward until I fully understand what constitutes the S & the N in every sitaiton. Does it matter?
It looks like the information (when comparing answers) does portray the same thing, but it is not lined up the same. Sorry if this is confusing and thank you for your help.
