In the little over a month before the Oct test, I completely stopped drinking, which really isn't a big deal for me, but is it something necessary? Is there really a point in stopping drinking completely in the few weeks before the test? Or is it mainly the week before the test where one should stay away from drinking?

Like if I want to have a drink here and there to relax, is that a problem now? Or even the week before the test? Or is it getting completely drunk that's the issue?

What's your take on this topic, as I feel that a drink here and there and maybe a few drinks once or twice might be beneficial to relieving stress...

Thanks! :)

Relax and have a drink, man!

Seriously though, drinking in moderation at this point isn't an issue. I would refrain from drinking in the seven days prior to the LSAT because studies have shown that the negative effects of alcohol (heavy consumption, that is) will linger over a period of days, not hours. So in that last week you might want to lay off, but right now, you're certainly clear for a few drinks, and other than the hangover effects the next day cutting into your studying, feel free to tie one on if so inclined.

Cheers!

So moderated drinking is fine now, but you'd stay away from intense drinking?

Thanks! This is good news! :)
