I'm an accommodated test taker and my test date is on Tuesday, June 4th (the day after everyone else) at 8:30am. Am I likely to take the same exam as everyone else or will I be taking a different (presumably reused/recycled) exam? Thanks in advance!

Hi Like_Spike,

Generally speaking, special administrations are nondisclosed versions of the test. This means your test is likely to be completely different from the test given the day before. This applies to tests given on a separate day due to accommodations for disability, for religious accommodations or weather accommodations. This keeps the integrity of the test, but will mean you get less information about your test when it's time for the score report.

Hope that helps,
Rachael.

Is this true even though I specifically registered for what was stated to be a disclosed exam? I took the November exam with the same accommodations, but it just so happened to be at the same time as everyone else, and (as you can guess) my exam was disclosed to me. I didn't know I would have to take it on a different date until last week. It seems like LSAC would be misleading accommodated testers who take it on a different date by allowing them to sign up for what's advertised as a disclosed exam while at the same time not explicitly informing us (unlike how they do so with Sabbath observers) that we wouldn't be getting our exams back.

Hi Spike,

Accomm tests have been up and down in recent years, but the disclosed exams have been the same and they have been released. This was NOT the case as recently as a couple of years ago, and so it's really hard to know some times which ones will be released and which won't (because there's no official policy). This one should be released to you however.

Thanks!
