Elements not Mentioned

When an element is given within problem, but it ISN'T listed in the given rules, what are you supposed to do with it. This is specifically for conditional rule problems. If I need to post a sample question, please let me know. This is my first time posting on this forum. Thanks.

Hi Kia,

Thanks for the question! Those are called randoms, and you simply note their existence. They also tend to be "weaker" variables, and so they aren't the first place to start when looking to make things happen in games. We talk about them in both our courses and our books—do you have the books or are you in a course? I can point you in the right direction if so
