Hey everyone,

I've gone ahead and put together my once-a-year post listing the application deadlines for all ABA-approved law schools. You can check them out here: http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/bid/258 ... -Deadlines

As always, if you have any law school admissions questions, be sure to let me know!

anne. this is amazing. thank you.

i'd been planning on waiting until the next cycle to apply but with this information (many schools receiving applications until spring or as late as summer!), i wonder if financial aid deadlines would fall similarly.

would you agree that applying early in the admissions cycle is advantageous for both admissions and financial aid reasons?

Hey sarajane!

I'm glad you found the piece useful! :) I would definitely say that applying early is beneficial for both admissions and financial aid purposes--although I would venture that it is even more beneficial for financial aid. Just like applying early can increase your chances because you're competing for more available seats against fewer people, applying early can increase your chances of obtaining "free money" (scholarships, grants, etc), because the pot is still full (as opposed to at the end of the cycle, when the bulk of the money has already been given out.

Financial aid deadlines tend to mimic application deadlines, but I would still check with any school in which you're interested just to make sure. However, my advice would still be that you wait until the next cycle to apply--you'll increase your chances for admission and cash.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions.
