Hi,
I'm preparing for the January 2020 LSAT. I took my first cold diagnostic test in July, and scored a 146. I'm twenty years old, a senior in college, and I'm currently working on my law school applications. With less than a week until my LSAT, I'm stuck in the low 160s. My highest score ever was a 163, on a paper practice test two months ago. Since I enrolled in the On Demand course and started taking digital practice tests, my highest score has been a 162, which was a couple of days ago.
I have roughly an 80% accuracy in each logical reasoning section, and roughly 70% accuracy in both Logic Games and Reading Comprehension. In terms of the digital test, timing is a huge issue for me, especially in Reading Comprehension. I find that I have to guess on most of the answers for the fourth passage, as I always run short on time. I didn't have these timing difficulties on the paper tests, as I was always able to annotate/diagram physically on the passages.
In regards to my guesses, usually, if I'm guessing on a question lower than #20, I guess D. If I'm guessing on a question that is #20 or higher, I guess E. I guess this way in each section that I run out of time in. I'm wondering if you might have any suggestions as to how I could improve my guessing strategy, given that I am less than a week away from my test. I think that I should work on improving my timing in LG and RC more than I should work on LR, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks,
Shah
